Bilingual Financial Literacy | Educación Financiera Bilingüe
Compass is Meridian's free bilingual financial literacy program, in partnership with ELEVATE Financial Literacy. We are based in Harlem and built for students and families who are more comfortable in Spanish than English. Compass offers every resource, tutor, and tool in both languages, because faith calls us to meet people where they are. We teach financial fundamentals to learners of all ages, with a focus on middle school students, and all of our guidance is rooted in Catholic social teaching. See below for a summary of our full suite of resources, including a financial calculator, tutoring, a budgeting app, and grade-level guides, all of which you can also find in the tabs under Compass ES/EN. Everything here is free and open to everyone, no matter your background, language, or faith.

Our Tutoring Staff
Compass Bilingual's tutors are students trained to provide free, bilingual financial guidance. Guided by principles of integrity, justice, and solidarity, they are available to answer questions and accompany families through life's most consequential financial decisions.
